The Hungate Christmas Tree Festival returns to Beccles

Hungate's Christmas trees return for another year

From Friday 27 to Sunday 29 November, Beccles Methodist and United Reformed Church (Hungate Church) fills with decorated Christmas trees for the annual Christmas Tree Festival, one of the town's most popular community events.

Local groups, businesses and individuals each sponsor and decorate a tree, turning the church into a trail of colour and light for the weekend. Thousands of visitors make their way through Hungate every year, and the festival raises funds for local charities and community groups alongside the life of the church itself.

There is no charge to come and look around, though donations are always welcome, and the Coffee Lounge will be open for refreshments across the weekend.
